Today was the finish to our city tour - the London Dungeon. We took our last trip on the Red Bus to the dungeon, then went on the tour. It was scary. It was the story of the great plague of 1622, Sweeney Todd (the barber who killed people and used their body parts to make meat pies), Jack the Ripper ( who killed women and took body parts), many ways to torture people, the black list - the 222 crimes punishable by death. Took the boat ride to "hell", I was tried, convicted, and went to the gallows to be hung. It ended with a free-fall ride after my hanging. It was my favorite part of the trip. We took the tube (London Underground) back to our hotel. The Salmons left for South Africa, I did homework, and we walked to dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. Mom and Dad went down to the lobby for some adult time, and I watched TV while they were gone. We leave tomorrow nite for South Africa. London has been a fun city.
WOW!!!! The London dungeon was not only scary, it was very interesting. I have alot of questions when you come home about "freefalling" and a detailed discription of the gallows. I'm gradually catching up, so don't be surprised that my responses aren't in order. I am enjoying every one so keep them coming. Hi to everyone. lots of love, Aunt Pat
