We met up with Mar's friend Danie in Wellington, and drove into a local black township of Mbekweni. The town is made up of small square houses made mostly of wood and metal roofs. Some have bricks. Some of these are shanty's. We went to the preschool they have established with the help of their church, and went to the home of Kathyrn, the principal. We then went to Silvertown, and spoke with Sidwell, who runs the Lukanyo Youth Development Center. Next, we went to the countryside and stopped at some wineries. First was Diemerfontaine, and then we ate lunch at FairView- the home of 'Goats Do Roam'. There are 3 goats in the front of the winery. We had fun with them. We had a great lunch- I had Biltong Salad(kind of like jerky). Came home and did homework, then Gabriel and I went to work out while Mom and Dad went out to dinner. Another early day tomorrow...nite
